Welcome to running sisters

Running Sisters is a supportive community, celebrating women who run and their personal stories. The aim of this community is to encourage women of all ages, fitness levels and abilities to take up this healthy sport and discover the joy of running. 

Are you needing inspiration? Running Sisters will bring you stories of women who, through running, have overcome personal challenges, gained a strong connection to their community and improved their fitness and vitality.

Merchandise supporting children with disability

In 2019 I visited a small charity supporting children with disability, Children’s Hope in Action, CHIA in Hoi An Vietnam.  Having worked in the disability sector in Australia for 20 years I recognised that CHIA is a well organised and important service doing fantastic work in Hoi An.  I have returned several times and most recently in April 2022.

CHIA operates a small day activity centre in Hoi An where children come to learn and play 6 days per week. CHIA also provides outreach support in the Quang Nam Province, Central Vietnam where many families survive on just $3 per day.  Hoi An is a peaceful, ancient town and relies heavily on international tourism.  Since early 2020 Hoi An has experienced the devastating impact of COVID-19, and many people are without an income source.  CHIA has continued to operate when permitted and has felt the impact of reduced donations.

The Running Sisters range provides ongoing support to CHIA, with every purchase contributing to therapy sessions for children with disability.
